The Lakehouse is available to rent for special occasions or the offering of small business activities like meetings, fitness or family celebrations. It accommodates 72 people standing or 55 seated. Rental includes the use of tables & chairs, full kitchen, and BBQ.  The outdoor fire pit and private beach space are not available for private use.

Rental rates are as follows:

​

• $50 + GST per hour for Residents

• $400 + GST for Residents booking 4 hours or longer

​

In addition, please note that an Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) Special Event Permit (available online ONLY from the AGLC website) and liquor liability insurance are required if alcohol is to be served at your event.

 

In the case of renters not having either of the above types of coverage, then a “special event insurance” policy can be purchased. This coverage and resultant costs will vary depending on the event, the number of anticipated participants and if liquor is present or not.

​The use of alcohol and/or recreational drugs is not permitted at any time except for alcohol at authorized Private Functions inside the Lake House; these require proof of a Liquor Permit and Party Alcohol Liability (PAL) Insurance. All alcohol must be consumed within the Lake House and not on the beach or park property. Smoking of tobacco products and/or recreational drugs is not permitted on LAHP property at any time.

Renting the Lake House does not give guests access to the beach or water equipment.  Access to the beach area and water equipment may be accessed by residents signing in guests, using the rights assigned to all residents; however the number of guests allowed onto the beach via this option is restricted.
